being BUSY!! :)

Main happy vappy kyu kyu kyu,,, main busy vusy hoon hoon hoon!!

People generally  feel bad about being busy but as I am a bit ulta in all terms, m glad that I have been quite busy since the last few days.. and thankfully the right amount of busy-ness!!As they say empty mind is a devil's workshop. But my mind was all filled with frustration and angst of sitting idle and snoring in the noon, just doing household chores and watching tele-soaps. But since quite some time, I have started using my mind and time in some productive ways. First it was Mom’s fiftieth birthday party preparations, now its navratras, ongoing interiors of our new residence, family wedding coming up and of course not to mention my hyperactive daughter who keeps me on my toes all the time!! See frankly speaking, sitting at home and doing nothing apart from household chores and taking care of little M has made me a bit lazy. ;). Honestly, I am not the “superwoman” kinds who can manage a 12 hours job and home both effectively. I wish to work only for my self-satisfaction and self-esteem that I am not just sitting at home and wasting my time. Plus I don’t want to ignore my child also as I feel what is most important, as a parent, especially in the formative years of the child, is to be able to spend some quality time with your kid, to let them know that you are there for them no matter what, to be their best friend till the new ones arrive, and to just enjoy these beautiful priceless moments for as long as they last!! J

And regarding the interiors of my new home,, I am pretty excited about it!!Its like one of the toughest job because here I have to follow my gut completely. Everyone has their own choices and preferences and I got to decide the best,, but, with everyone’s consent!! You won’t believe, my room was the last one to be finalized as I gave the ones which I liked to everyone and as usual me and husband weren’t agreeing on anything. But thankfully we did, and hopefully it should look good. (fingers crossed).   So, with dad’s architectural experience and my ideas ,I am trying to give my best attempt, lets see what is the outcome now. As they say … “thoda sa tera sa hoga, thoda mera sa hoga, apna ye aashiyaaan!!! “

Even for my husband, I don’t want him to be soooo busy in his work that he doesn’t have time for his family. What is the point of earning money when you don’t have your loved ones around you to celebrate or spend it? Of course that doesn’t stop you from working hard and securing your future, but I feel why waste today in worrying about tomorrow. Kya pata, Kal Ho Na Ho!! ( goshhhh,, filmy  ME!!) LOL..

So,, as I am “the right amount” of “being busy”, I am enjoying this phase.  As long as I can take care of little M, play with her and say stories –workout - cook for everyone and eat – work from home – shop, spend and splurge, , I am lovin it!!

  3. Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
